Ring Sizing Guide
Finding the right ring size should feel simple. Whether you are choosing a piece for yourself or selecting a gift for someone special, the perfect fit is all about balancing comfort, security, and ease.
A well-fitted ring should slide over the knuckle with gentle resistance, sit comfortably at the base of the finger, and feel secure enough to wear with confidence throughout the day.
If You Have a Ring That Fits
One of the easiest ways to find your size is to measure a ring you already own.
Choose a ring that fits the same finger you plan to wear your Fantasia ring on. For the most accurate result, use a simple ring shape, such as a band, and compare the inside edge of the ring to our printable Ring Size Guide.
If your ring falls between two sizes, we typically recommend choosing the larger size for comfort.
Please note: wider rings may feel more snug than thinner bands and may require sizing up slightly.
If You Don’t Have a Ring
If you do not have a ring to reference, you can measure your finger at home using a strip of paper, ribbon, or soft measuring tape.
How to Measure Your Finger
- Cut a thin strip of paper, ribbon or string.
- Wrap it around the base of the finger you plan to wear the ring on (check that this size also clears your knuckle width).
- Make sure it feels snug, but not tight.
- Mark where the paper or ribbon overlaps.
- Lay it fl at and measure the length in millimeters.
- Compare the measurement to our ring size chart.
For the best result, measure more than once and use the average measurement.
How Should a Ring Fit?
Your ring should feel comfortable and secure.
It should:
- Slide over the knuckle with gentle resistance
- Sit comfortably at the base of your finger
- Move slightly without spinning freely
- Feel secure when you move your hand
- Come off without much force or discomfort
Finger size can change slightly throughout the day due to temperature, activity, and natural swelling. We recommend measuring close to the end of the day, when your fingers are warm and at their largest.
Ring Sizing Tips
- Measure the exact finger and hand you plan to wear the ring on. The same finger on opposite hands may be different sizes.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold, very warm, or swollen.
- If your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size between the two.
- Wide bands usually fi t more snugly than delicate bands. For wider styles, consider sizing up by ½ size.
- If you plan to stack multiple rings on one finger, consider the combined width. A stack may feel tighter than a single ring.
- For slim bands worn alone, your regular ring size is usually best to help prevent spinning.
Choosing a Ring as a Gift
Planning a surprise? The most accurate way to estimate size is to borrow a ring they already wear on the intended finger and compare it to our printable Ring Sizing Guide.
If that isn’t possible, you can discreetly trace the inside of the ring on paper or ask a close friend or family member if they know their size.
As a helpful starting point, many women wear between sizes 5–7, with size 6 being one of the most common. Fit can vary, so we always recommend measuring whenever possible.
A Note on Resizing
Some ring styles may have limited resizing options depending on the design, stone setting, or customization. Eternity bands, engraved pieces, and certain made-to-order styles may not be eligible for resizing.
